A pay-it-forward program that gifts restorative facials to women who need care the most — women in shelters, mothers facing hospitalization or terminal illness, and women navigating their own serious medical treatment.
Why It Exists
Care shouldn’t stop when life gets hard
The women who could use an hour of gentle, nurturing care are often the last ones to get it. Money is tight, schedules revolve around treatment or survival, and many spas turn away clients whose skin is going through something difficult.
The Facial Forward Fund exists to close that gap. Our community gives what they can, and together those gifts become a quiet hour of rest, touch, and skin that feels like its own again.
Who We Serve
Three groups of women at the heart of the fund
Women in Shelters
Women rebuilding their lives through local shelters and support programs, referred by our partner organizations.
Mothers in Crisis
Women whose children are hospitalized or facing terminal illness, carrying more than anyone should have to.
Women in Treatment
Women going through their own serious medical journey, including chemotherapy and other treatments.
Why We Can Say Yes
Gentle enough for skin in treatment
Skin going through chemotherapy and other medical treatments is often fragile, reactive, and dehydrated — which is why many spas can’t take these clients. At Harley Shayna Skin, every service is built on a barrier-first, “low and slow” philosophy, and we use Epicutis, a clean, barrier-repair skincare line suited to sensitized and compromised skin.
That means we can welcome women that other studios have to turn away. Recipients in active treatment are always asked to check with their care team before their visit.

Gifts are pooled into full facials and matched with a recipient referred by a partner organization or nominated by the community.

Your recipient enjoys a custom facial with barrier-safe care, at no cost to her.
