EPICUTIS® Lipid Shield is an EWG Verified®, tinted, mineral-based sunscreen formulated with non-nano zinc oxide to deliver broad spectrum SPF 30 protection — free from chemical UV filters, preservatives, and harsh additives. But this isn’t just a sunscreen. Every ingredient is chosen to actively support and strengthen skin health while it shields.

At the heart of the formula is TSC, a proprietary ingredient developed through IPC technology at Princeton University, that goes far beyond standard sun protection. TSC works to reduce UV-induced redness and inflammation, minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and protect against collagen breakdown — addressing the long-term damage that sun exposure causes at the cellular level.

Complementing TSC is a carefully curated blend of soothing, antioxidant-rich botanicals. Bisabolol, derived from chamomile, calms and relieves irritated skin. Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate, sourced from licorice root, reduces redness and evens skin tone. Aloe Vera Extract delivers hydration and antioxidant defense, supporting the skin’s barrier and aiding recovery after sun exposure. How to Use: Apply liberally to dry skin as the final step of your morning routine, at least 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply to dry skin after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every 2 hours.

Sun Protection Measures: Regular sunscreen use is one part of a complete sun protection routine. Limit sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and wear protective clothing including long sleeves, hats, and sunglasses. For topical use only. Keep out of reach of children. Children under 6 months: consult a doctor.

For Aesthetic Treatments: Use Lipid Shield for a minimum of 10–14 days before ablative treatments to prepare and protect the skin. Post-treatment, Lipid Shield is safe to reintroduce 48 hours after ablative procedures and 24 hours after non-ablative treatments, supporting continuous protection and full skin recovery.
